It is always difficult when it comes to tell something about me. There are so many things and it just can’t be fitted in a small page…

I am Amit Patil, born & brought up in Mumbai – the commercial capital of India. Living this city is both ecstasy & agony.  In India we say, Mumbai is a city of dreams. That is, you can realize your dreams here. It has a metropolitan, multicultural environment. People are warm, friendly and approachable. Most importantly they are helpful. In last few years, Mumbai has seen lot of traumas such as bomb explosions, fires, floods etc. But even in those situations every Mumbaikar (resident of Mumbai) has stood together.

On the dark side, traveling in this city is a nightmare. Our lifestyle has become highly professional and we can give very little time for our family. Buying a house in this city is lifetime’s achievement. Firstly there are not so many houses (of your choice) and secondly even if they are available one needs to have a strong financial muscle to buy one!

Well, I drifted a lot from myself to my city. So, coming back to me, I’ve spent my entire childhood & teenhood here. It is not possible to give every memory here but suffices to say that due to the efforts of my parents, relatives & friends I am able to reach where I am today.

In my life I want to do so many things. I love nature and my dream is to have a house in lush green planes, surrounded by thick forest and rivers. I want to sleep in the green grass looking at the blue sky breathing fresh air and listening to whistles of wind blowing in the forest. Obviously this is far from a dream if you are staying in Mumbai.

Photography is my hobby. I like to spend time in maintaining marine aquarium at my home. Though I like to read, I am a selective reader. I am crazy about gadgets and technology and spend a lot of time in keeping myself updated in this area. Since I’ve maintained this web site it goes unsaid that I like to surf the net.

The reason why I created this website was that I wanted to reach out to friends like you. Provide a platform where friends come together to share their feelings, knowledge & ideas. I am sure that you’ll help me achieve this.
